There are public transit options available (Greyhound and Go Transit), but neither drops you off right at the falls and the logistics of getting 35 students on and off are a bit of a nightmare. That really depends on the season and, well, how warm you like it. Our tour does run year-round, and there is an obvious difference in the clothing needed for July versus January. That being said, we recommend dressing in layers that you can easily remove if need be. The Maid of the Mist boat tour provides a rain jacket, but the rest is up to you.

You can purchase the tickets from either your driver or your guide on the bus itself. It is often possible for us to accommodate traveler’s luggage, however it is necessary to call ahead to make sure that there is still room available on the bus. Remember, when calling, if you can include the dimensions of your bag, this will be very helpful in determining how much space is available. This is one of the most common questions that we get here at Star Coach services. It takes about 90 minutes for our buses to get to the falls from the downtown core, assuming good traffic. This last point is crucial, and especially so in determining our return time. We strive to get you to the Falls with as much time to enjoy them as possible, but traffic can be trying.
